For the next dilution, one drop/dose of this 1 CH preparation will be diluted in 99 drops/doses of neutral solvent. This new mixture will in turn be stirred before obtaining the 2 CH preparation. This process is repeated until the desired dilution is obtained. The figure before the abbreviation CH is therefore the number of cycles (dilution and dynamization) undergone by the homeopathic medicine. In the case of a 9 CH, the ninth preparation is used.
